THINK! Road Safety Grants Program

About the grants

The Government of South Australia recognises that educating and supporting communities is key to improving road safety for everyone.

The THINK! Road Safety Grants Program is supporting organisations in promoting road safety at a grassroots level. The program helps to deliver initiatives, programs and activities to achieve cultural change. These efforts will focus on reminding all South Australians that we can prevent road trauma if everyone prioritises road safety.

Grants are available across regional and grassroots road safety initiatives. This may include:

  • promoting or sharing road safety resources or events, such as a Department campaign or National Road Safety Week
  • purchasing equipment to support road safety initiatives
  • events or administration that supports a broader road safety initiative
  • an education program targeted towards young road users
  • a road safety resource or service in a regional or remote area of South Australia that is harder for the community to access
  • an initiative targeted at improving road safety outcomes and education for Aboriginal road users.
