Temporary closure of the Purnong Ferry

The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) advises there will be a temporary closure of the Purnong Ferry service from 9am to 4pm on Tuesday, 16 June (weather permitting).
The disruption is to replace the ferry, and upstream and downstream cables, as per the Ferry and Cable Replacement programs.
Alternative crossings will be: Walker Flat Ferry (upstream) and Mannum Downstream Ferry (downstream).
