Notice to Mariners No. 25 of 2024 (Temporary)
SOUTH AUSTRALIA – INVESTIGATOR STRAIT – HYDROGRAPHIC GEOPHYSICAL SURVEYING
Mariners are advised that vessel ‘MV Cutloose’ will be conducting hydrographic and geophysical survey operations in Investigator Strait out to the approximate 30m depth contour. Activities will include towing surveying equipment off the stern of the vessel.
The operations are schedule to take place approximately 10 May 2024 to 15 May 2024, works will be conducted during day light hours.
Survey area boundaries are:
34° 56.301'S 138° 29.203'E
34° 57.632'S 138° 23.054'E
35° 0.027'S 138° 23.940'E
34° 59.149'S 138° 30.405'E
Mariners are advised to navigate with caution when transiting the area and keep well clear of the operations.
