Temporary delays on the Wellington Ferry

The Department for Infrastructure and Transport advises there will be extended wait times on the Wellington Ferry travelling east from 9:30am to 1pm on Monday, 9 November (weather permitting).

The extended wait times are due to the charity event, The Variety Bash, coming from Strathalbyn and crossing on the Wellington Ferry to their meet up at Wellington East.

Due to the higher volume of vehicles using the ferry, an additional operator will be present during these hours to minimise any disruption to the public.

Alternative crossings will be: Tailem Bend Ferry (upstream).

The Department thanks ferry users for their patience.
