Safety Awards highlight success

The 2019 DPTI Safety Awards have celebrated some great initiatives by delivered DPTI staff over the past 12 months.
The winner of the Best Solution of a WHS Risk award was Andrew Nobbs, for working with others to help deliver a safer cable changing winch and reel stands for the Morgan ferry.
The Best Individual WHS Achievement award went to Daniel White for improving WHS measures for conduct of bridge maintenance repair work.
The Best Health and Wellbeing Program had shared winners – the DPTI Made Available Trade Mental Health Initiative and the ODASA Wellbeing Program.
The inaugural Chief Executive’s Award went to Chris Carr for his role in driving the development and implementation of DPTI - Minimum Construction Safety Expectations.
