O’Halloran Hill intersection upgrade
Wednesday, 23 October 2019
The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) is improving safety and connectivity in the area, particularly between Happy Valley and Hallett Cove, by upgrading the intersection of Main South Road with Candy Road and Lander Road, O’Halloran Hill from Monday, 28 October.
The upgrade will allow for right turn movements between Main South Road and Candy Road, and through movements between Candy Road and Lander Road.
Day works will occur between the hours of 7am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Night works will occur between the hours of 7pm and 6am, from Sunday evenings to Friday mornings.
All roads will remain open to traffic, with a 25km/h speed restriction in place while workers are on-site. Lane and other speed restrictions may apply, subject to onsite conditions.
Works are expected to be complete by mid-2020.
The South Australian Government has committed $5.2m to deliver this project, which is an election promise.
