Free public transport for AFLW Grand Final
Friday, 29 March 2019
Buses, trains and trams will be free for this Sunday’s AFLW Grand Final between the Adelaide Crows and Carlton.
Footy fans can catch free public transport to and from Adelaide Oval on Sunday, 31 March, while Footy Express bus services will operate for up to half an hour following the final siren.
Extra tram and trains services have also been made available to operate post-game, as required.
As entry is free to the AFLW game, patrons will need to advise train, tram and bus drivers they are travelling to and from the event to access the free travel.
Footy Express buses will pick up passengers post game at the special bus interchange on King William Road, between North Terrace and Pennington Terrace, with some services departing at Victoria Drive and Sir Edwin Smith Avenue.
