Major traffic changes at Sturt Road/Main South Road Intersection, Bedford Park
Friday, 26 October 2018
As part of the Darlington Upgrade Project, major access traffic changes will come into effect at the Sturt Road intersection with Main South Road commencing over the weekend of 27-28 October.
Right turns from Sturt Road into Main South Road will be temporarily removed until the completion of the project in 2019. The remainder of the traffic switch including Sturt Road traffic onto the new Sturt Road bridge will occur on Tuesday evening 30 October 2018.
Please note that this will change how eastbound motorists on Sturt Road will access Flinders Drive.
The new bridge at Sutton Road/Mimosa Terrace will be partially open to traffic as part of these upcoming traffic changes. It will operate under temporary arrangements until project completion, with only the eastbound carriageway open for use. The westbound carriageway will remain closed.
We thank motorists for their patience while these important works are undertaken.
