Safety improvements to the Morphett Road intersection with Oaklands Road, Warradale
Tuesday, 26 June 2018
The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) is improving safety for all road users at the Morphett Road intersection with Oaklands Road, Warradale.
The upgrade will include extending the right turn lanes in each direction on Morphett Road and Oaklands Road on the eastern leg of the intersection and controlling right turns with traffic lights at all times with the objective of reducing the risk of crashes.
Works will commence Wednesday 27 June and be completed Friday 10 August 2018, weather permitting.
Works will be undertaken between 7am and 7pm Mondays to Saturdays, with no works occurring on Sundays.
Roads will remain open to traffic during work times, with a 25km/h speed restriction in place while workers are on site. Lane and other speed restrictions may apply subject to onsite conditions.
The $475,000 project is funded by the State Government’s Asset Improvement Program.
DPTI thanks road users for their patience while these important works are carried out.
