River Murray flood update: Mannum upstream ferry to close
Wednesday, 30 November 2022
The upstream ferry at Mannum will be closed from 7pm tomorrow (Thursday, 1 December) due to rising water levels.
Traffic can continue to cross the river at Mannum using the downstream ferry, which will remain operational.
Meanwhile, a reminder that the Lyrup ferry is being closed from 7pm today (Wednesday, 30 November) due to high water levels.
Alternative river crossings are at Paringa bridge (upstream) and Berri Bridge (downstream).
All other ferry services are currently operating as normal. However, it is expected the Morgan ferry is likely to close next week as flows and water levels continue to rise.
Conditions can change quickly and ferries may have to be closed at short notice.
