Port Adelaide Service SA centre has moved

Tuesday, 8 June 2021

The Service SA centre in Port Adelaide has moved to a new home at 21-25 Nile St and opened its doors on Monday 7 June 2021. The new centre will deliver a modern customer service experience with a strong focus on providing digital services.

The Nile St centre is modelled on the Currie Street Service SA centre, using digital technologies, such as assisted self-serve, to provide a supportive, individually-focused environment for customers to use and learn how to complete online transactions.

The new Nile St centre will continue to provide the same services that were available at the previous Port Adelaide centre.

“Following the success of Service SA centres in the CBD and Mount Barker, this new centre will modernise service delivery for the Port Adelaide community,” Service SA Director Shannon Smith said.

“We know more people are going online to access their registration and licensing services, but we also recognise that not everyone wants to or is able to transact online.

“That’s why we are upgrading our centres to cater to everyone’s needs.”

The new Service SA centre is accessible with public transport and parking available nearby, and is Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) compliant.

Local residents are encouraged to continue to visit www.service.sa.gov.au to complete their transactions easily online, and at a time convenient to them and visit the centre for assistance with completing more complex transactions.

To support the recent shift to online services within South Australian communities, Service SA has been improving and expanding its online service offerings.
