Temporary Outer Harbor and Grange rail line closures

The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) advises that temporary night closures will be in place on the Outer Harbor and Grange rail lines on Friday, 17 January and Saturday, 18 January.

Substitute bus services will operate as closely as possible to existing train timetables.

The night closures are required to facilitate scheduled maintenance works, as part of ongoing rail improvements across the network.

Works will be conducted from 9pm until last service both nights.

To facilitate these works, the Outer Harbor and Grange lines will be fully closed, with the following services cancelled and replaced with substitute buses:

Last full services to run –

  • 7:12pm departing Adelaide for Outer Harbor and 8:02pm departing Adelaide for Grange
  • 7:58pm departing Outer Harbor and 8:31pm departing Grange
