Ewe beauty! Extra bus services for showgoers

Get moo-ving to this year’s Royal Adelaide Show on public transport with an udderly stress-free ride to the heart of the fun.
Best in show on the roads and rails, Adelaide Metro is running over 2100 extra services to get bumper crowds to Wayville and home again safely during the show, from 31 August to 8 September.
Roll up, roll up to more than 30 stops within walking distance of the Adelaide Showground or jump on the show shuttle and travel express from the city to the Ridley Gate.
Departing from Currie Street, the popular shuttle service will loop between the city and Goodwood Road bus interchange every 20 minutes from Monday to Friday (Route 21W) and extending to service select U-Park locations every 15 minutes on weekends (Route 23W), running from early morning to late at night.
Special 22W O-Bahn Show buses will operate at 15 to 30-minute intervals from Tea Tree Plaza interchange, picking up showgoers at Paradise and Klemzig from 9am to 8pm for a direct ride to the excitement.
Three trips will depart Golden Grove Village each morning of the show, or people can catch a regular O-Bahn service to the city and connect to the dedicated bus shuttle.
Trains on the Flinders and Belair lines will stop at the Adelaide Showground railway station, along with express Seaford services running between 9.40am to 2.45pm and from 5.40pm until last service for the duration of the show.
Tram-goers can take the short 500 metre walk from Goodwood Road stop to the showground’s Leader Street entrance.
The best-value fares are on metroCARD, and passengers are reminded to recharge and register their metroCARDs ahead of their trip to the Show. Pre-purchase your metroCARD from Adelaide Metro or your local metroCARD retailer.
Tap and pay is also available on all trams and buses, and to transfer to trains departing Adelaide Railway Station.
The Adelaide Metro Buy & Go app provides showgoers with another easy way to pay for tickets. The app is free to download and allows people to choose from a range of ticket types including Regular, Concession and Student fares, Daytrip and 3-Day Visitor Passes.
The app makes travelling to the show easy for friends and families, with passengers able to validate up to five tickets at once on the same phone using the same Visa or Mastercard credit/debit card.
Children aged under five travel free with a fare paying adult and on weekends children between five and 15 travel free with an adult using a valid day trip ticket.
South Australian Seniors Card holders are reminded they can enjoy free travel every day on all Adelaide Metro services.
