Drive So Others Survive: High profile South Aussies take the pledge
Monday, 6 May 2024
Prominent South Australians have joined forces this week to take the National Road Safety Week pledge, as South Australia continues to reel from the tragedy of 117 lives lost on its roads last year.
The famous faces have all pledged to:
- remove distractions when driving
- never put others at risk by speeding
- protect vulnerable road users and emergency service workers.
This year’s National Road Safety Week theme, ‘Drive So Others Survive’, is an important reminder that we all have a role to play in reducing road trauma, whether we are drivers, passengers, cyclists or pedestrians.
Let us all commit to being safe road users and working towards a future with zero road fatalities.
