Mo your own way this Movember onboard our buses, trains and trams!

The mo-tivational moustaches are back with almost 100 buses, trains, trams and marine safety boats sporting the black stash this Movember in support of men’s health.

The Department for Infrastructure and Transport has teamed up with Adelaide Metro and Marine Safety to raise awareness for the cause and prompt South Australians to ask ‘where’s the mo?’

This year 60 public transport buses, 22 trains, 10 trams and four boats across Adelaide, the Adelaide Hills and surrounding regions have had a hairy face lift - committed to growing and maintaining some stylish whiskers.

Keep an eye out for the black handlebars and post a happy snap to social media with the hashtag #AdelaideMetMo or #MarineMo for your chance to win a regular metroCARD with $50 credit.

To avoid a close shave, remember to stay on the footpath or platform behind the white line when taking photos.

Unlike our dapper mos that can be seen on public transport, mental health struggles can often be harder to spot.

Whatever style you like, whether it is a natural moustache or a fake one, Movember aims to increase early cancer detection and treatment with the aim to reduce the number of preventable deaths.

We know that not everyone has mo growing abilities, so there are multiple ways to get involved. You can:

Move for Movember (walk or run 60 kilometres in November).
Host a mo-ment (have a morning tea).
Mo your own way (make your own challenge).

Since 2003, the Movember movement has spread around the world and has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects.

Growing a mo can inspire donations and encourage people to ask their mo bros how they are travelling.

The Department’s Movember partnership began in 2018 with one moustache on a tram and continues to grow.
