Notice to Mariners No 21 of 2023 (Temporary)

SOUTH AUSTRALIA – LOWER LAKES – MUNDOO CHANNEL – NAVIGATION BEACON MISSING

Mariners are advised that the south cardinal navigation beacon (Q(9)+LFl W 15s) at the entrance of the Mundoo Channel in position 35° 33’ 31.14”S 138° 54’ 01.35”E is missing.  A temporary unlit white buoy has been placed at that location.  A new beacon will be installed as soon as possible.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the area.
