HARBORS AND NAVIGATION ACT 1993

SOUTH AUSTRALIA –KANGAROO ISLAND – KINGSCOTE – PENNESHAW MARINE ACTIVITY ZONE

Mariners are advised that two marine activity zones have been implemented to allow for works to be conducted in the below locations

Kingscote: The area North of the main jetty marked with buoys at the below locations to a line directly parallel to the jetty back to the shore.

(C)  35° 39’ 10.734” 137°38’ 56.869”

(D)  35° 39’ 15.364” 137°38’ 54.599”

Penneshaw: The area approx. 520 m from shore marked with buoys at the below locations

(A) 35°42’ 49.784” 137°55’ 9.997”

(B) 35°42’ 51.914” 137°55’ 21.777”

All marker buoys are special marks with a Saint Andrews cross fitted with lights with the flashing sequence -  Fl Y 5s

Mariners are advised to exercise caution in the vicinity.
