SOUTH AUSTRALIA – PORT MACDONNELL – DREDGING OPERATIONS
Mariners are advised that maintenance dredging operations have commenced in the Port MacDonnell channel.
Dredging operations are scheduled for up to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and expected to be complete July 2022
The discharge pipeline rests on the seabed during normal operations, however, the pipeline may be floated to facilitate dredge movements. In these instances, a SÉCURITÉ warning will be issued on VHF channel 16.
The dredge maintains a listening watch on VHF channel 16 and 14
Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the area
