Owners of a tourist attraction or service can use this form to apply for a tourist attraction road sign. These signs help to direct visitors to your business.
There is a different form for accommodation. If you are a tourist accommodation owner or operator, you can apply for a tourist accommodation sign.
We’ll assess applications based on navigation needs, safety and efficient traffic management. Assessments will not consider the promotion of a business.

There are other attractions that may be not easily fit within any of the above categories but warrant signing. Applications may be submitted to DIT with the onus on the applicant to present a strong case for special consideration.
Applicants should provide a comprehensive application demonstrating a case for eligibility. Criteria for other categories may be a useful starting point to assist in preparing the application. Providing photographs, brochures, visitation numbers, etc would also assist with assessing the application.

Conditions
Approvals are valid for eight years.
You must make sure the business continues to meet relevant criteria during this time. Submitting this application indicates that you accept this condition.
If the business no longer meets the relevant criteria contact the Traffic Management Centre on 1800 018 313.
After the approved period, we may ask you to show that the business still qualifies for signage.
We may review and remove the sign at any time.
