SOUTH AUSTRALIA – GULF ST VINCENT – ADELAIDE VTS
Mariners are advised that Flinders Ports Pty Ltd has been authorised as a Vessel Traffic Services Authority by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority in accordance with the provisions of Marine Order 64 (Vessel Traffic Services) 2013.
The vessel traffic services formerly known as ‘Adelaide Outer Harbor’, which operate from the Marine Operations Centre, Passenger Terminal, Oliver Rogers Road, Outer Harbor will now be known as ‘Adelaide VTS’. This service comes into effect immediately.
Adelaide VTS also maintains 24 hour radio coverage for vessels calling at the following ports: Port Giles, Klein Point, Ardrossan, Wallaroo, Port Pirie, Port Bonython, Whyalla, Port Lincoln and Thevenard. The call sign for these ports will be known as ‘Adelaide VTS’.
