SOUTH AUSTRALIA – GULF ST VINCENT- PORT ADELAIDE RIVER - OUTER HARBOR - DREDGING OPERATIONS
South Australia - Gulf St Vincent - Port Adelaide River - Outer Harbor Berths 1, 2, 3 and 7, Inner Harbour Berths 27 and 29, the northern approaches to Berth 29 and the Dock 3 Turning Basin - Dredging Operations
Mariners are advised that dredging operations will be carried out in the Port Adelaide River from 27 October 2020 to 08 March 2021 approximately.
Dredging operations may be conducted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and will be up to 100 metres off the wharf face. A cutter suction dredge, a small anchor barge and a small work boat will occupy these areas throughout the project.
The Outer Harbor, a dredge pipe will run at times from Outer Harbor Berth 1, along Berths 2, 3 and 4, across the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron entrance (sunken), along Berth 6 and under Berths 7 and 8 to the Pelican Point Dredge Ponds.
The Inner Harbour, the pipeline will run at times from the northern approaches to Berth 29, along Berth 29, overland at Berth 27, across the Dock 3 Turning Basin to the Dredge Pond north of Berth 20.
The dredge will exhibit the appropriate lights and shapes as required by the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, 1972.
