Kidman Bridge Renewal Works

We are undertaking remediation works on the Kidman Bridge, located on Henley Beach Road over the River Torrens in Lockleys.

These works, funded by the South Australian Government as part of the Bridge Maintenance Program, will ensure long term protection of the steelwork and increase the life span of the bridge. Works are required to repair deteriorated areas under the bridge, including removal of old paint and replacing it with new lead-free paint, as well as repairs to the bridge concrete piers and deck (under the bridge).

To safely undertake these works and ensure there is no impact to the environment, the works will be undertaken in a fully enclosed encapsulation that will be positioned along the bridge. Works are expected to be complete by mid-2025.

Linear Park Trail Shared Use Path

Sections of the shared use path will be closed for the duration of the project. Please be cautious when passing through work zones and follow directional signage along the paths.
