SOUTH AUSTRALIA – GULF ST VINCENT – MARION REEF – CHANGES TO LIGHT AND STRUCTURE
Mariners are advised that the range of the light on the Marion Reef beacon in Gulf St Vincent near Edithburgh, Fl W 7.5s, located in position 35° 09’ 13.08” S, 137° 49’ 01.05” E has been reduced from 10 to 8 nautical miles. The white GRP hut on the beacon has been removed and the elevation of the light (height of the light focal plane measured from Mean High Water Springs) has been reduced from 12 to 9 metres.
