Set and forget with direct debit

Looking for an easier way to pay your vehicle, motorbike, trailer or caravan registration? Set and forget with direct debit.
To get started you will need a mySA GOV account, at least one month’s registration remaining on your vehicle and a credit or debit card.
When you set up your direct debit agreement you can choose to pay your registration in monthly, quarterly or annual instalments.
We’ll send you SMS or email reminders before your direct debit is due so you can ensure that there are enough funds in your nominated bank account. If the payment fails for any reason, you'll receive notification from us so that you have time to make the payment before the registration expires.
Once renewed your registration certificate will be made available electronically through the mySA GOV account.
