Notice to Mariners No 1 of 2019

SOUTH AUSTRALIA – KANGAROO ISLAND – VESSEL PARTIALLY SUBMERGED UNDERWATER AND DRIFTING
Mariners are advised that part of the sailing vessel “Wild Eyes” that was abandoned in the Indian Ocean in June 2010 is drifting off Kangaroo Island. The latest known position of the abandoned vessel is 36° 11’ 28.68” S, 137° 19’ 44.52” E approximately 11 nautical miles south of Vivonne Bay.
Mariners are advised that the vessel is a hazard to navigation and advised to exercise extreme caution when navigating in the area.
