The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) advise that as a result of predicted severe weather conditions, five metropolitan jetties will be closed until further notice.

The jetties to be closed are:

  • Largs
  • Brighton
  • Grange
  • Semaphore
  • Henley Beach

This is due to the impending extreme weather front and high tides, and they will be closed as a safety precaution.

Jetties will be assessed as the weather clears and before being reopened.

The department is also monitoring Gorge Road, which may be closed as the weather develops. Please check AddInsight or Traffic SA before travelling this route to check access.

Please check the State Emergency Service and Bureau of Meteorology websites for weather warnings and forecasts.

DPTI will provide updates via Facebook and Twitter.
