Public transport services 27-29 December 2017
21 December 2017
Between Christmas and New Year bus services will operate at reduced frequency, but there will be enough buses to cater for demand during this time of year.
Each year, public transport patronage is significantly lower during this period. In 2016, patronage reduced by approximately 42% during this time.
Between 27 to 29 December, buses will operate to a special summer holiday timetable.
During this period, tram services will operate to their normal timetable, with additional trams to operate to the city between 10:30am and 12:30pm, and from the city between 4pm and 5pm on Boxing Day.
Train services will also operate to their normal timetable during this period, however, Belair line passengers are reminded that the line will be closed for essential works between 27 to 29 December, and substitute buses will be operating.
The Outer Harbor and Grange rail lines will remain temporarily closed until 15 January 2018 while works continue for the Torrens Rail Junction Project.
