Port River Expressway - Increasing Works program
4 October 2017
As part of the Northern Connector Project, the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) advises works will be increasing along the Port River Expressway, between Hanson Road and Salisbury Highway, for construction of the Southern Interchange.
Construction works will continue intermittently, until late 2017.
To minimise the impacts to motorists during peak periods, day works will be scheduled between 9am and 3pm and night works between 7pm and 6am.
Works will include the relocation of services, installation of safety barriers, asphalt works, concrete works, line marking and general construction adjacent the roadway, for construction of the new bridge.
Signage and traffic management will be in place to advise motorists of temporary speed and lane restrictions.
The safety of workers and the general public is paramount so please take care when travelling through work zones.
Thank you for your patience while these important works are undertaken.
