Hanson Road and Port River Expressway traffic changes
19 April 2017
As part of the Northern Connector Project, the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) advises night works will be undertaken at the Hanson Road and Port River Expressway interchange between the hours of 7pm and 6am on Wednesday 19 April and Thursday 20 April 2017.
No works will take place between Friday 21 April and Tuesday 25 April 2017. Night works recommence at 7pm on Wednesday 26 April 2017 for approximately 10 nights intermittently over a three week period.
Works will include the identification of underground services, the continuation of asphalt works, and the installation of temporary concrete safety barriers.
Lane and speed restrictions will apply on Hanson Road and the Port River Expressway in the vicinity of the works. The Hanson Road eastbound on-ramp to the Port River Expressway will be closed.
Access to the Port River Expressway eastbound lanes can be accessed via a detour to Eastern Parade.
Signage and traffic management will be in place to advice motorists of the changed traffic conditions and road users are requested to take extra care when workers are on site, and to observe the traffic signage and restrictions.
DPTI thanks road users for their patience while these important works are undertaken.
