Temporary speed limit on Joy Baluch AM Bridge raised to 40km/h

CONNECT - Message from the Chief Executive

5 April 2017

The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) advises motorists that the temporary speed limit on the Joy Baluch AM Bridge at Port Augusta has been raised from 25km/h to 40km/h for all vehicles.

The speed limit was initially lowered to 25km/h after the Port Augusta council closed the Great Western Bridge, directing pedestrians and cyclists on to the Joy Baluch AM Bridge.

DPTI is satisfied the 40km/h speed limit is safe for pedestrians and cyclists and thanks everyone for their patience.
