Park Terrace, Bowden, night works, commencing Friday 24 February
17 February 2017
The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure advises motorists that night works will take place on Park Terrace, Bowden, as part of the Torrens Rail Junction project between 7pm and 6am from Friday 24 February until Sunday 26 March 2017 inclusive.
During these works Park Terrace will remain open in both directions. However, temporary lane closures and speed restrictions will apply and advance signage will be in place to advise motorists. Motorists are requested to take extra care when workers are on site, and observe traffic signage and speed restrictions.
Works include the removal of medians and the installation of piles, for the construction of the Park Terrace Bridge, which when complete will enable construction on the lowered Outer Harbor passenger rail line.
These works will not impact rail services, and pedestrian and cyclist access will be maintained at all times. The pedestrian crossing at Park Terrace will be maintained during the day and traffic controllers will be on site during night works to assist pedestrians and cyclists.
Thank you for your patience whilst these important works are undertaken.
