16 December 2016

Cricket fans attending Big Bash League and International matches at Adelaide Oval will receive free public transport on dedicated Adelaide Oval Express services as well as all Adelaide Metro buses, trains and trams.

It’s the first year public transport is free for cricket fans.

To cater for the big crowds, there will be free dedicated Adelaide Oval Express buses as well as extra train and tram services for every Strikers and Australian international game this summer.

Passengers can present their ticket or member’s pass on-board any Adelaide Metro train, tram or bus to travel free to and from Adelaide Oval.

The free travel period is for 3 hours prior to the gates opening to last service. Except on New Years Eve where free travel is all day.

Full details of the Adelaide Oval Express services are available on the Adelaide Metro InfoLine 1300 311 108 or at the Adelaide Metro website.
