Top honours for our Aboriginal trainee graduates

Congratulations to our Aboriginal trainees who have recently graduated from their administrative traineeship, awarded with a Certificate 3 in Business.
Over the past 12 months, our trainees have received on the job experience working in various areas of our department whilst a nationally recognised Certificate 3 qualification with training provider Maxima.
Two of our trainees, Amy Solomann and Shazzaray Dodd, from Safety and Service Division, were nominated for the Indigenous Student of the Year Award, with Shazzaray Dodd taking out the accolade for her outstanding performance and academic achievements throughout the year.
Our trainees attended a graduation and awards ceremony in the prestigious Magarey room of Adelaide Oval and were awarded their certificates by Maxima Chair, John Schumann.
Maxima is the provider for the Jobs4Youth 2016 program, through which our department currently recruits all our entry level trainee and graduate roles. The Jobs4Youth program provides invaluable training and development and ongoing job prospects to our next generation of public sector employees.
