DPTI Media Alert - traffic restrictions on Ayliffes Road, St Marys 4-7 November 2016
3 November 2016
The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) advises motorists that as part of the Darlington Upgrade Project there will be significant lane restrictions on Ayliffes Road from 8pm on Friday 4 November to 6am on Monday 7 November 2016.
Traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction on Ayliffes Road between Norman Street and Main South Road. There will be no right turn into Novita Children’s Services or the Danthonia Track car park from Ayliffes Road.
The works include trenching, pipe installation, backfilling and asphalt reinstatement.
Motorists and road users are requested to take extra care when workers are on site and observe traffic signage and speed and lane restrictions when travelling through the area.
Visit the project website at www.dpti.sa.gov.au/infrastructure for a suggested alternative routes map.
Lengthy delays are expected and motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time while works are being undertaken.
