Media Alert - Community Grants promoting safer, greener, more active travel closing soon

Applications for the Community Grants program will close on Sunday 4 September and community groups and organisations are encouraged to submit an application to implement projects that promote safer, greener and more active travel.
Projects can focus on improving road safety, getting people cycling, walking or catching public transport, replacing car journeys with technology, or smart use of cars.
The program is funded by the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) in partnership with the Motor Accident Commission (MAC), with up to $100,000 in funding available annually.
