DPTI Media AlertTraffic restrictions on East Terrace between Grenfell Street and Bartels Road- Stage 2 works

The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) advises motorists from midday today, the southbound lanes of East Terrace between Grenfell Street and Pirie Street/Bartels Road will be closed, with the left turning lane from East Terrace to Bartels Road remaining open, as part of the O-Bahn City Access Project works.

This follows the completion of Stage 1 works on the northbound lanes.

Northbound lanes on East Terrace have been re-opened. Stage 2 works will take 4 to 6 days to complete. Works are being undertaken from midday today until 6pm and from Friday 12 August 2016, between 7am and 6pm, with the exception of Sunday.

Once complete, Stage 3 works will commence, with traffic restrictions to be advised.

Motorists and road users are requested to take extra care when workers are on site and observe traffic signage and speed restrictions when travelling through the area.

Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time while works are being undertaken.
