DPTI MEDIA ALERT – GAWLER LINE INTER-PEAK TRAIN SERVICES TOMORROW, THURSDAY 7 JULY

Adelaide Metro remembers the life of Mr Rob Dale, a well-respected train driver who provided 31 years of service to the SA public sector. He sadly passed away on Friday at the young age of 49.Adelaide Metro is committed to the wellbeing of its staff and will support a large number of train drivers to attend today’s funeral service and remember the life of their much-loved colleague. To facilitate this attendance, inter-peak train services on the Gawler line will be replaced with substitute buses between approximately 10.30am to 2.30pm tomorrow (Thursday 7 July).
This will ensure a safe and reliable inter-peak service is provided for Adelaide Metro customers and we thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
Last train services prior to the stoppage:
The last train from Adelaide Railway Station will depart at 10.08am, and will arrive Gawler Central 11.03am. The last train from Gawler Central will depart at 11.17am, arriving at Adelaide Railway Station at 12.11pm.
First train services after the stoppage:
The first train from Adelaide Railway Station will depart at 2.08pm, arriving at Gawler Central at 3.03pm. The first train from Gawler Central will depart at 3.17pm, arriving at Adelaide Railway station at 4.11pm.

All other train services will run according to current timetables. This is not expected to impact peak and Footy Express services.
