The Department of Planning Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) is undertaking works to upgrade a section of revetment wall which supports the lake bank between Bower Road and Flamingo Grove, Semaphore Park.
The works will involve replacing 180 metres of the existing pine log wall with a new concrete sleeper wall for improved stability and durability.
Works are scheduled to commence on Wednesday 8 June 2016 and are expected to be complete by late July 2016.
Works will occur Monday to Saturday, from 7am to 7pm, weather permitting.
The footpath adjacent to the work site will remain open at all times however the lake bank in the vicinity of the works will be closed to the public during the works.
Adjacent residents should expect some noise from the works. DPTI will make every effort to minimise impacts and appreciates your patience and understanding while these works are carried out.
