Cape Jaffa Jetty closed for maintenance

Members of the public are advised that the Cape Jaffa Jetty will be closed for maintenance works which will prolong the life of the structure and improve safety for all users.

Approximately 55 metres of the jetty deck will be replaced and 150 metres of timber kerbing will be installed to replace the steel rail kerbing which is currently in place.

The jetty will be closed to the public however the boat refuelling facilities at the end of the jetty will remain operational during the works.

Works will commence on Tuesday 29 March and are expected to be completed by mid April 2016, weather permitting.

The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) thanks the public for their patience.
