STARCLUBS kicking goals across SA
11 December 2015
A total of 38 clubs out of 1910 registered organisations have now reached the highest level of achievement in the STARCLUB program.
The latest group of clubs have had their online information verified through a face to face consultation with an independent consultant who in turn provides a report to the ORS for final approval.
Once 'Recognised' status is awarded, clubs receive a certificate from the Minister, a new logo for use on their website, newsletters etc, further promotion via the ORS and a fence banner that has so far proven to be very well received.
A snippet of comments from the latest reports highlights what STARCLUBS are doing to become better managed community clubs.
"the club's succession plan is first class with mentoring and training given to prospective new volunteers" Kalangadoo Football Club.
"the club has a strong relationship with the local council..it is professionally managed with dedicated volunteers... it has comprehensive and up to date documentation in place and generates an environment of good governance." Seacliff Community Recreation Centre.
"the club has worked tirelessly in an effort to become family friendly..their organizational structure defines member’s roles clearly and this effectively spreads the work load more evenly amongst the team" Port Noarlunga Football Club.
Congratulations go to our latest group of 'Recognised' STARCLUBS.
