Partial Closure of the Heysen Tunnels Due to Maintenance
24 June 2015
Motorists are advised that there will be partial closures of the Heysen Tunnels on Wednesday, 1 July 2015 between 8:30 am until 4:00 pm for maintenance works.
Every effort is being made to reduce the impact on motorists by conducting the works at majority off peak hours with minor lane closures.
To accommodate the works one lane of the Crafers bound tunnel (left lane) will be closed from 8:30 am until 2:00 pm and one lane of the Adelaide bound tunnel (left lane) will be closed from midday until 4:00 pm.
Motorists are advised that a reduced speed of 40km/hr will apply during works.
The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure thanks road users in advance
for their patience during these essential maintenance works
