Train Driver Industrial Action Monday 29 June 2015
19 June 2015
The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) has been advised by the Rail, Tram and Bus Union (RTBU) that industrial action including a four-hour
work stoppage between 10am and 2pm will be undertaken by members that will impact the running of all train services on Monday, 29 June 2015.
The action is being taken as negotiations continue around enterprise bargaining for RTBU members.
The action will include all train services (Gawler, Belair, Seaford, Tonsley, Outer Harbor and Grange lines) suspended between 10am and 2pm.
Adelaide Metro will make every endeavour to assist passengers however the stoppage will cause significant impact to the network.
We are working to put in place a contingency plan including substitute bus services.
Once available, further updates will be issued on the Adelaide Metro website, www.adelaidemetro.com.au, and customers are urged to visit Adelaide Metro Info Centres
or call the Adelaide Metro Info Line on 1300 311 108 for information.
