Industrial Action by Tram Drivers Friday 26 June 2015
22 June 2015
The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) has been advised by the Rail, Tram and Bus Union (RTBU) today that industrial action will be undertaken by members that will impact the running of tram services on Friday, 26 June.
The action is being taken as negotiations continue around enterprise bargaining for RTBU members.
A four-hour work stoppage will see tram services suspended between 6pm and 10pm. Contingency plans including substitute bus services are being organised. Adelaide Metro will make every endeavour to assist passengers.
Updates will be issued on the Adelaide Metro website, www.adelaidemetro.com.au, and customers are urged to visit Adelaide Metro Info Centres or call the Adelaide Metro Info Line on 1300 311 108 for information.
