Minor works Main North Road, Elizabeth Downs
11 March 2015
The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure wish to advise that minor works have started on Main North Road near the intersection with Midway Road and Woodford Road at Elizabeth Downs.
The works will be carried out from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday until Thursday 2 April 2015, weather permitting. Speed restrictions will be in place.
The works will improve safety at the intersection of Main North Road and Midway and Woodford Roads by extending the right turn lanes on both Midway and Woodford Road approaches to the junction.
Also the signals on Midway and Woodford Roads will be upgraded to provide partial right turn control with minor road widening.
The works are funded $253,056 under the Australian Government Black Spot funding programme.
