Score big with free public transport
Tuesday, 17 September 2024
Beat the game day traffic and leave the driving to us with FREE public transport available for all footy fans heading to Adelaide Oval for this weekend’s Hostplus SANFL Grand Final.
Whether you are donning the blue and red or the yellow and black, let the team pride shine this weekend onboard any Adelaide Metro bus, train or tram. Let our drivers get you to and from the game safe and on time - free to anyone who presents a valid Grand Final ticket.
More than 25,000 fans are expected to pack Adelaide Oval this Sunday as the reigning Premiers Glenelg look to go back-to-back against the minor Premiers Norwood. While the game is set to be a nailbiter there is no need to stress about how you are going to get there with our buses, trains and trams gearing and ready to go.
Adelaide Oval Express bus services will run up to 45 minutes after the final siren, while extra train and tram services will also be available to help fans get home safe and hassle free.
Be ahead of the game and plan your journey in advance with the Adelaide Metro journey planner, and check your timetable in real time by visiting www.adelaidemetro.com.au.
Footy fans aged under 18 receive free entry to the match and do not need to present a ticket when boarding public transport.
Some roads surrounding the oval will close from 10:30am, so please follow the directions of traffic controllers and allow extra time when travelling. Find real-time updates on traffic conditions at Traffic SA.
