Notice to Mariners No 7 of 2023 (Temporary)

HARBORS AND NAVIGATION ACT 1993

SOUTH AUSTRALIA – GULF ST VINCENT– ADELAIDE – SAPOL EXERCISE AREA

Mariners are advised that a South Australian Police (SAPOL) exercise will be carried out in area bounded by a circle of radius 2.5 nautical miles centered on a position 34°45’5.25"S   138°13’48.48"E

*           21st March 2023  (0900 - 1600 hours)

*           22nd March 2023 (0900 - 1600 hours)

*           17th April 2023     (0800 - 1500 hours)

Entry into this area during the specified periods above is strictly prohibited unless permission is given by SAPOL.

Mariners are further advised to use extreme caution whilst navigating in the vicinity of the area and where possible to keep clear of the area at all times.

Unauthorised persons or property within these areas during this period risk serious injury or damage.
