Notice to Mariners No. 55 of 2022

HARBORS AND NAVIGATION ACT 1993
SOUTH AUSTRALIA – LACEPEDE BAY – KINGSTON SE – MARIA CREEK ENTRANCE – CHANGES TO NAVIGATION BEACONS
Mariners are advised that as a result of the closure of the Maria Creek boat ramp and access channel at Kingston SE, the following changes have been made to the navigation beacons marking the entrance of the channel:
- The port hand beacon and light at the end of the northern breakwater in position 36° 49’ 16.91”S, 139° 50’ 56.94”E have been removed.
- The green light at the end of the southern breakwater in position 36° 49’ 16.57”S, 139° 50’ 53.93”E has been replaced with a white light Q(9)W 15s, range 2 nautical miles.
Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the area.
