Manton Street and Adam Street junction upgrade

Construction of the Manton Street and Adam Street junction upgrade is now complete. The upgrade provides additional capacity for city bound traffic by adding a left-turn lane from Manton Street into Adam Street (eastbound).

It also improves pedestrian and cyclist safety, and access to the River Torrens Linear Path.

As part of the River Torrens to Darlington (T2D) project, there will be $850 million worth of additional network and amenity upgrades along and around the final 10.5km section of South Road. These works are essential to the proper functioning of the motorway and wider road network, both during and after construction of the T2D project.
