Flinders Highway Safety Upgrades
We are delivering critical road safety upgrades to The Flinders Highway between Coffin Bay and Port Lincoln. The State Government has allocated $10 million over four years (2024-2027) for targeted road safety initiatives on rural roads, including audio tactile line marking, safety barriers and rural junction activated warning system signage.

Project Background
The Flinders Highway is a key transport corridor for farming, freight and tourist movements in and around the Eyre Peninsular and these upgrades will deliver improvements to freight movements, support regional economic growth and improve safety for all road users.
