The Gawler East Link Road will provide local traffic with direct access to Main North Road without travelling through the Gawler town Centre, reducing travel times, reducing the likelihood of crashes and minimising the vehicle emissions cause by travel delays.
Major works have been completed and the road is open to traffic as of 18 October 2020.
Project Concept Plan
Following an intensive review process to consolidate and consider all findings, issues and opportunities, it was determined the best outcome for the Gawler East Link Road was to follow the State Government (DIT) Alignment.
